This has got nothing to do with vegetables – unless you have badgers living close by – but the government has invited responses to a consultation document published last September, before 8th December.

This document presents a case for exterminating badgers in selected parts of the country using a variety of methods.

The justification for this proposal is that TB infection in cattle can be caused by badgers.
